Holiday Hullabaloo

I think everyone enjoys being surrounded by good friends and family on the fourth of July.

We've started a new tradition with some friends where we alternate hosting a BBQ and then caravan to see fireworks. It works out very nicely. We hang out all day, eat, watch the local display and go home.

This year the younger kids ran around playing with water guns, Nate alternated between watching the little ones and a Twilight Zone marathon, while us older folks sat chatting and sipping cocktails. We watched fireworks in a neighboring town, armed to the hilt with glow sticks and bug spray.

What could be better?
